I wanted to knock out some work on it this weekend and snap a few pics. I'm heading down to see her graduate this week. The bike is still a ways off from being done. It will be a while before she can use it anyway, she has a 6 month school to knock out before she can have it at her post.
She is a huge cafe racer fan, but the Radian's lines don't lend well to that mod so I went a differnt direction with it. Here is the bike so far in it's early stages.

Well she passed the state riding course with a 97 on the written and perfect score on the riding test. She's not out on the street yet with a track day for beginners coming up soon and much practicing with dad.
I bought her a Suzuki bandit 400 and new Dianese leathers held gloves Oxtar boots and Scorpion helmet.....she's styling eh.

A buddy of mine picked up a 04 ZX10R today so he gave his CBR600F4i to his gf and I jumped on offering to buy her 97 CBR600F3 before she could say it was for sale. :laugh It is well taken care of and I just did a carb clean and sync on it for them a few weeks ago. I'm getting it for $2500 and will pick it up in a few weeks. They are going to get the fork seals replace before I pick it up. Looks like I'll have to make more room in the garage. :banghead Here is a few pics.

I know a bunch of us have tracked both the TLR and the GSXR. I'm thinking of buying a GSXR750(an 03 or an 04) for the track.

I've done a LOT of trackdays on the TLR, and nothing else. Of course I've driven GSXRs of all sizes on the street so I understand they are very different.

Could you folks chime in on what I can expect with respect to stock 03 or 04 GSXR performance on the track? I have a feeling Suzuki, as usual, greatly under-sprung the bike. Yes, I already know it is lighter, has more HP and higher redline than a TLR.

I'm not looking for wise-crack short answers, but detailed insight from the experienced folks here that have gone from a TLR to a GSXR on the track. What did you experience in making the transition?
