  • Buying my girlfriend a bike.

Well the gf is finally getting a bike of her own. A buddy of mine picked up a 04 ZX10R today so he gave his CBR600F4i to his gf and I jumped on offering to buy her 97 CBR600F3 before she could say it was for sale. It is well taken care of and I just did a carb clean and sync on it for them a few weeks ago. I'm getting it for $2500 and will pick it up in a few weeks. They are going to get the fork seals replace before I pick it up. Looks like I'll have to make more room in the garage. Here is a few pics.

It has daisy stickers on the back of the tail cause the soon to be former owner's user id is staciedaisy on www.wksportbike.com which her and her boyfriend own. It is our local bike forum.

        Nice! They are great bikes.

Re: Buying my girlfriend a bike.

My second bike was a 96 F3. I wish I still had it some days, cause it was always so good to me. Super comfortable for a sport bike and just reliable as hell.
Looking for ETI fuel Cell or carbon bimota tank, and a rear seat for the TLR... PM me with those items.

My wife (ex) had one too. A '93 I think it was. It was a great bike.

Rob... good score, but I hope those decals, ALL of them are removable. It's not that bad, but I'm not a fan of the scheme. Either way... good score!

I know this bike real well. I have done most of the maintenance on it for them for awhile. I told them if they ever put it up for sale, that I wanted it.

                      I had a 91 F2(that I totalled...t-boned a car at about 65mph) and a 96 F3. Loved em both....Nice score!

Good one Rob! My girl is FINALLY getting hers out a lot more. It only took a year and a full 3-day motorcycle safety course for her to feel good about it.
