    pretty stoked to pick this up today! tick faster than the sv i sold in spring but with bags always thought these were neat bikes but too $$. got a screaming deal on craiglist. 95 with 12,700 miles. adding 40 miles to that number with a passenger after i got her home.

      I too have eyed a BMW now an d then but thought they were excessive when it came to the $s too. Still, I may find one some day. At he moment though a Ural or Dnepr seems to be calling me. Of course, one of those with a BMW engine would fill both wants.

                      i could ride this bike to canada... the 300 mile fuel range doesnt suck either.

                            to me just look big bulky & clumsy also i see big $ if dropped on those cylinder heads.

                              Nice toy John, I like working on them, but I haven't decided I need to own one yet. A buddy just got a newer GS and it is neat, but awful tall for me. I am digging the Super Duke, going to be hard to dynamite it out from under my fat ass.
