Going to the Gap 7-18 till 7-21. Camping at Foothills Campground. Meeting some folks from KY. up there. We should get there late Friday Afternoon. We already have about 6 Bikes. The Dragon, Cherohalla, and Beer. In that order of course...

Dammit my kids Birthday Party is on Sunday, I may try for a saturday ride. Hopefully the weather fron the Hurricain doesnt screw with roads. Do a pass before giving it gas, mud slides have been awful in the mountains due to all the rain!

Yeah... I hear Foothills was hit Hard... Come by the Campground at Abrahms Creek on any day.. It looks like theres about 20 of us that will be there. We will be there for Brkfst, Lunch, and Dinner.. Look for the Blue Suburban..

If I get the chance to come down ill hang out either at the Crot od the overlook. Usually cant miss my TL, it either screaming through with me hanging off with sparks shooting off of my knee puck or when ya park it gets looked at alot due to the wheels.

Now my Wife has to work Saturday morning She is trying to get out of it. Im going to see whats going on and if any other riders may want to go down with me. If not I may try and just tow down the 100 miles to the Foothills so I can stay longer and then drive the truck after dark.

I hate riding my bike in the mountains after dark!

Well the weekend was un friggin real. I met Mike AKA Bates 1000 and had a great time. We met about 9 other freinds of mine from Kentucky and I came up with about 13 people from Atlant. We owned the friigin campground. The TLR's survived and ran awesome all weekend and Monday. However 3 of my friends went down, 2- on the Dragon and 1 on Hwy 28. ZX-6-Wasted, FZ-1 Wasted, and F4-Wasted. Thank God no suzukis. I will plan another Date next year and this time I plan on bringing the boat too to enjoy the best of both worlds.. Mike it was great meeting you and look forward to the next trip... BTW, Did you get any of those Pics developed yet? I need that new Avatar!!!
