i am planning on replacing the fender eliminator with a flat piece and transferring the turn signal bracket (the only piece really worth a crap ) over to the home made piece. probably use aluminum plate and polish the hell outta it. going to look for the aluminum next week, you're more than welcome to join me.

Sorry for the late reply but I've been out workin all weekend. I dont have it on there anymore unfortunatley. When I got the custom ducktail made I had a slight return on it, about 20mm each side. The only problem with that was it made it really difficult to get the tail on. But anyway that is what the undertray bolted to. The new tail unit doesnt have the return on it, so I've gotta figure out what I'm gonna do about the undertray

Anway in the pic below you can see how far forward the tray comes.




Normally the tail would curve around and stop roughly where the edge of the aluminium tray is. You might be able to make some tabs up and mount them the tail, say 3 along each side, plus the 2 stock ones up near the tail light, should do the trick. Are you gonna have enough clearance to put a flat tray in.

im looking at starting with a flat tray and putting one bend in it to get it to mount flush under the tail light. with the fender elimintato kit i have now, i had to trim the undertray, so if i have to trim moe, no biggie.

loving all that carbon (damn you...lol)
