  • Rear Fender Question

    OK,

so have you guys who have done it, and by the look of it most have removed the bug ugly rear fender, just taken the hacksaw to it of removed the whole thing and replaced with an aftermarket/home-made unit??

The standard fender covers the whole underside of the subframe right?

Any help would be appreciated as its the only thing that spoiling the lines of my fine machine.

cut it off just behind the boot space. i installed a powerbronze undertray on mine. its a bit tricky but, the finished look is way better than stock.
i installed indicators in vents on tail as there was no room left for them with pipes in the way

        thepowerbronze is a complete unit
i cut the original fender and cut out the bottom of the trunk space on the original, and then slid the powerbronze under it so i didnt have to move any of the electrical stuff connected in there.
ill take and post pics tomorrow afternoon when i get back from dirtbiking

Like I have said before, just remove the whole damn thing! No need to hack anything. Remove the entire piece and make your own ECU / Regulator mount with some sheet metal.

Looks da shiznit and shaves pounds off your fine machine.

For the TL1000S, Coerce racing makes an fender eliminator that runs the length of the motorcycle from the battery to the end of the sub frame.

I used super velcro to hold down the ECU, PCII, scorpio alarm and ATRE. This new tail actually increased my trunk space as well!

Cost Y22,050 with tax, which equals $191.75 and it is really light compared to most of the other stuff I looked at.
            Just a few mods:

            Silver, the fastest color!

On the inside - HID type bulbs, K&N filter, Iridium ix plugs, 16T front sprocket, Coerce billet sprocket cover, Yosh re-map +5, +5, +5 11 o'clock, Scorpio SE-i500 system from my GB and an ATRE.

On the outside - TLR forks, front carbon fender, 5/8th master brake cylinder, black SS brake lines (frnt & rear), braking waves all around with Ti bolts, Brembo gold front calipers & a busa gold rear caliper, flush mount signals (frnt & rear), ZG DB scr

So what your saying is if you dont want to cut up the origanal fender you just remove it and put in the powerbronze unit.
              What about the rear taillight??
The reason im asking is im thinking about buying one but havnt seen one in the flesh.

I cut the rear mudflap and the accessory hooks off and installed a pyramid undertail which retained my stock storage spacing. I love the way it turned out...
