  • Rode an RC51 today.....

I've got to say it was a sweet ride. She was Ohlins front and back with the full Akrapovic system.

After tearing up some on-ramps north of the city with some buddies I had the chance to ride the RC. When my stock damper started to get mushy the Ohlins was hanging tough.

The RC just seemed like a much more "surgical" tool and the sound of those pipes was intoxicating, not to mention the bang on fuel injection.

Won't be getting rid of the Tiller but that RC was oh so sweet. I know if I went with the aftermarket suspension life would be oh so much better but I got to get the pipes first.
Galfer braided lines throughout, ATRE, UFO tailight, ET79 Undertail and Hugger, 520 16/39 Gold Chain combo, Full Yosh C/F exhuast, Corbin seat, Ohlins Steering Damper, Ohlins Rear Suspension, Tinted Double Bubble Windscreen, Sylvania Superwhites, Yosh Box Remapped and all protected by GORILLA Alarm System

I like the RC"s myself but not a much as the TLR. I am going to get a new shock before I get my full exhaust its going to be hard to but I would rather have a better handling bike than the few extra ponies and some weight savings. Also the TLR is way better looking than the RC and if the total money that guy spent on the RC was spent your TLR your bike would put the smack on the RC

The only RC I've been on had a seat like stone, that was the deciding factor(TL VS. RC) for me before I bought...

My friend has a TLR and it is alot of fun to ride. The seat is truly a rock but it is a fun bike. I would get one if it wasnt 10 or 11k.
                I'm so slow I think I'm first!!!!!!!

Sorry, but it would take more than a corbin to mmake that thing comfy for me.

The RC is a sweet looking bike (never rode one yet), but they are a dime a dozen. The TL just looks like a Hotrod and sounds to boot!! Thought about the this, but the understanding wife said the tiller was much nicer looking and a whole hell of a lot more cumffy!! (sounds so girly, doesn't it??)
