  • Rear Solo Cowl Flight

On Saturday night I hit a big bump and my solo cowl came off on the highway.

It landed right side up and look to be OK after its flight.

As I was going to pick it up some $%@* in an SUV saw me and changed lanes just so he could run it over.

So I was wondering if anyone know where I can get a replacement for a good price?

    Thanks

Yeah, BTW. I have one extra...

But it´s not for sale. I plan to use it when a SUV runs over mine...

I did pick up a rock, but I missed.

I was on standing on the side of the highway when he/she ran it over.

At that point I wish I had something a little bigger than a rock to it that thing with a rocket launcher maybe.

Oh by the way I did find a place that sells them new for $138.

Do you think that is a fair price?

I dont have the slightest clue about the price. I got mine for free, because it was pretty scraped. But I have fixed most of it.

If it is the right color and everything I think it´s a go. But then, the is a price difference in Sweden compared to US.

Im sure that most places wont have the B/W one in stock, probably back ordered, since the B/W goes so much faster than the yellow one they tend to fly off more.

That is bad, I think I would have cought up to that SOB and punched their back window out . $138 sounds fair, I gave $150 for mine new from Yamaha.

I have a friend that picked one up off the highway. Looks to be an '01 cowl off a blue TLR. I'll see if he'll let it go. Few scrapes, nothing that can't be fixed. Probably a lot cheaper than a new one.

Got mine from Ron Ayers, $138. Better than a damaged E-Bay one that gets jacked up to $150. Bad thing about Ron Ayers is I gave them a specific part number for my bike and color and they gave me a different one. The gray doesn't match up, but I figure I need a new color anyways so it's not big deal. And yes I triple checked the part number. Better fix that crap Suzuki latch while you wait.
