Has any one experimented with either one of these products? If so,which one is better, they both seem to be the same to me just one is more expensive.

I have the JDS which resembles the first picture it cost $25 and it works great.

Is it my understanding that the '97 TLS does not benefit from the TRE mod as it wasn't originally equiped with a timing-retard mechanism (as on lated models)?
