  • Fairing mesh?

anyone know of anywhere that sells the metal mesh to put in the side holes of fairings?

i saw a gixxer 1k on the weekend with the same mesh as is in the front air intakes, but put inside the side fairing holes, and 'curved' out through the holes
    it looked really neat
just wondering if there were kits available out there somewhere

    cheers

    Fairing mesh...

I installed mesh in all of my fairing openings...Dresses up the bike real nice...I used the same stuff on the Fast n Furious style cars...You can go on Ebay and get the stuff cheap as hell...I paid about 9.00 plus shipping for 2, 6"X3' strips of mesh....More than enough...You can use fiberglass resin to hold them in or any type of hardner mix...

also, if you just need small stuff, get rain gutter guard from home depot, and you can glue it in with silicon type goop. Thats what I used.

Not exactly...Those are nice lookin too, but I just decided to use the mesh designed for the spoilers and vents from the body kits on cars...Because they were so abundant on Ebay...They just happen to have a whole list of universal mesh kits that were strips of 3'X6" , so I just found the cheapest one I could fine...If I screwed up no big deal, a whole 15.00 dollars invested if that.....Hope this helps...

Why are weightlifters reciting mantras about fear? Just curious.
