  • Quick ? About The Front Tire

I just got new 208's on my tls, went to a 180 in the rear, love that. Anyways, I think they put to tall of a tire in the front, bc I hit a bump, and it shattered my beloved Hammerit Front tire hugger in 2 pieces. I picked it up, noticeable tire rub on the inside of it. I have had this cover over my older pilot sports for a year w/ no problems, and lots of wheelies. Very pissed off right now. What is the stock tire size of the tls.

      120/60-17 is stock.
Most guys run 120/70-17 (myself included) with no problems though. I don't have a Hammerit fender though.
might want see if any of the other guys using that fender have clearance issues.

a 60 front is stock? didn't know that. seems a little non-zook traditional unless on their smaller cc bikes (ex. SV)

Yeah, I'm reasonably sure the 120/70 is the OEM size. That's what was on my 97 when I got her new...

            SIZE MATTERS

            120/70 IS THE OEM SIZE
            I know nothing about bikes.

Was that 208 a ZR or GP? I think the GP is a touch taller than the ZR and the 208's in general taller than other brands. But I don't think enough to do what just happened to you.

yeah, sorry I was wrong about the stock size.
It's been five years I thought that's what she came with.
