Be sure to check the steering head bearings and races. Friend bought one, tried to pitch him off when ridden.
There is a sleeve that goes in the steering head that supports the races that can be damaged quite easily and it's not available from Suzuki. Usually it's damaged in front end hits, so yours maybe O.K. Pass this on!

I think I may go with Ferrari Red with '01 stickers/styling. I have heard about this steering head bearing issue. I heard you can replace them with after market races if they get jacked. Is there an advantage to go after market with those as far as steer in?Originally posted by mcequalhp
