  • OZ Racing, @ a great price!

If you are serious, check this out so we can all get a great deal!

I had asked Mr. Varin about wheels, vortex sprockets, real carbon mirrors and the TRE.

This is what he came back with...

Hey Jeff. Depending on availability, you could figure and order of 5 or more
items in any category could get you guys an additional 10 percent off. We
would have to see what items are available to do each deal. I am certainly
interested in working with everyone on it.

How much real interest is out there?

For example he carries OZ wheels at $1440, which would be $1296 with the 10% discount on 5 sets.

If we had 15 or more people maybe we could get him to to a 20% discount which would bring the rims to $1152

Also, the PVM Y spokes are around $1650 for our average response so far, is there much of a weight difference (if any) than the OZ rims, and is THAT weight savings worth about $500 additional dollars?
    Just a few mods:

yeah, but the PVMs are so pretty!

wasn't there some issue with the OZ's? I can't remember what, but its lingering in my head that they were poor quality or had some problem

I could see paying $1500 or so

Who's got black 5 spokes that use stock cush drive and sprockets :dunno

If I'm spending $$$$ on rims, I want no worries.

          Sweet!!!

Herb is a local guy for me and has been to one of our club meetings. He is a great resource up here in the NW. All I can say is if you decide to work with him you have a local that can make sure you get what you want when you want it. I would be happy to help on your purchase if you guys decide to work with Herb.

guys unless those rims are comming direct from italy, there is no way you'll be able to get them for 1152.

the oz distributor is right down the street from indysuperbikes and i know for a fact there not letting them go out the door for that prices, we bought 20 sets and our cost was 2 over the price above.. Include 3% cc fees and the dealer will loose money.

I'm pretty sure that lp isn't going to let them out the door for that too.

                  Dealer is 1275 - cost

11% is the highest you can get off from lp as a dealer if they offered it on those, which they don't on OZ.
