  • Anybody in Europe

Well, as you can see to the left, I spend most of my time in Belgium.
I've noticed at least one of you guys is in Amsterdam, but I'm just wondering, anybody else riding a TL in this part of the continent

I'll be visiting Paris the third week of Sept. Sadly, I will not have a bike with me. If you wanna meet I'll ride yours for you?

Yeah, you'd probably even ride it better than me!!

How long are you gonna be in Paris?
      Work or holiday?

        Hi ,
I live in Paris and i'm a proud owner of a '97 TLS,
Unfortnately, I will be in the US for a business trip ( Tampa and Boston ) during the 3rd week of sept...
Have a nice trip, If you have time , go to Bastille on Friday evening, It's an interseting place to see sportsbikes and riders .
There is a lot of TL S and R's here in France and some of them modified with the help of the great resources found on this board,
Special thanks to SteveTLS and DougTLS ( or TLR now ?) and Art Davis for the valuable advices they gave to me , to fix some issue on my TLS...( clutch slipping , crank bearings, etc..)

I just got back from Paris less than a week ago. Basically, a two week vacation to take in the Czech MotoGP and some travelling in Germany and France... Gotta say I liked Germany better. Maybe because I have some aptitude for that language while French just sounds like gibberish to me

You went to Brno to see the GP?
Are you coming back next year?

The French are OK and have really cool roads (Les Vosges) but Germany has some really sweet roads...
Not to mention the Czech Republic, beautiful roads, perfect asfalt, no people and what's more, hardly any police, so sweet

Eurotrash, I think it's not that good, there should be an increase of European participation, good thing those Swedes are with us!!!

                  where you from?

not too many TL's around here, but that's a good thing IMO.

oh, and i don't recall welcoming you to the dark side:

                    Haha, van Hente!!!

I live in the Far East these days (Hechtel-Eksel, Limburg) but my roots are (as I myself was untill 3 yrs ago) in Kruibeke.

Cool to have someone from not to far here!

And THX for the warm welcome...

Probably not... As much as I liked it, the Czech Republic wasn't my bag. Prague was awesome, but their language is even more difficult than French! Plus, things aren't as nice/civilized over there quite yet. I guess once they join the EU next year things will start to change.

Anyway, I'd really like to take-in the German GP or possibly the one at Valencia, Spain. It may be a couple of years before I manage to get back over there though. I've gone bi-annually to Europe for the past 6 years! Love it over there... I hope to get a job that allows me to travel there more often someday

BTW, any Europeans coming to the US Formula One race here in Indianapolis need to get ahold of me!
