You do of course know that your namesake wheelies will be hard to come by now with that swinger. That is OK though, I have a geared down DRZ that will satisfy your wheelie lust. I was practicing my balance wheelies behind the elementary school just the other day. Put on a nice little show for the kiddiesIt is the perfect urban spot. School to one side, freeway to the other so I am not jetting past anyone's house in unicycle mode.
It does not wheelie like my old XL600 though. Not sure if it is the bike or just the fact that I am 10 years older and that I suck. I think a bit of both. More practice is required. The bike is pretty darn quiet, even with the opened up pipe, making such antics fairly low impact on the neighborhood. It is like my own private wheelie strip back there."The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man." - George Bernard Shaw

N2wheelies,
I see you have the spring back in, do you have to wind much more preload on to make up for the extra leverage the swingarm puts on the suspension?
I'm curious about the chain too, how slack is it when resting normally so it isn't tight when the suspension is compressed?"I spent most of my money on Scotch, women and cigarettes. The rest I just wasted"

hello steve,
i have a 700 lb spring and my objective is going to be to get back to 1 inch sag recommended by penske. also need to crank up the penske damping a bit.
i installed a V2 ride height adjuster so i can lower her a bit too.
this is fun stuff...
ill have to get back about the chain slack.
i need to do that after i get and height dialed.
