  • Undertail pipes vs High Mounts

What would you consider the pros and cons of the Undertail pipes vs High mounts.

The undertails look absolutely but there should be an obvious loss of power from the full yoshi that I've got at the moment.

What do you guys think about the whole setup.
I can get the entire undertail conversion done for something like $500. Powerflow's included!

You loose too much power with a undertail, trust me I know. There a lot of RR that goes in to a yosh system

They put in some alluminium or thermal padding that's supposed to stop the heat from reacing your ass!

The heats not the problem its the power loss.

I'm not too keen on losing power. How much do you lose. Any idea?

Holy . If the power loss is that great, than I seriously doubt the undertails. Power is way too important to me.

Dam dude never new it was that bad. I did my dyno back to back on the same dyno 1 year apart. My first numbers were 124 with full M4 system. The next year same dyno was 122 a little less but I picked up 3 HP in the mid range. My system is a 2 into 1 and not a 2 into 2 though.

Yeah Im not really sure about the guys Dyno, It was the first run on his new Dyno and he didnt know what in the Hell he was doing, he hit the rev limiter five times in a row I dunno I felt that power was down but I didnt think it was that bad! I still dunno how it could be so bad with just straight pipes?? Its not like I was using small tubing or anything
