  • Wet weather riding

I was returning home and got caught in a rain storm last night. Bike kept stalling out when at a stop sign or light. Any suggestions on what the problem could be?
    I know nothing about bikes.

Idle's too low? Other than that I would guess at electrical hiccups.

Well I would start the bike, get a water hose and spray different areas of the bike and see what happens. Maybe you can locate a problem this way or atleast get in the general area.

My friends and I got caught in the rain Sunday, about 40 miles from home and we just hauled azz through it. I enjoy riding in the rain and so far ( knocking on wood ) haven't had any problems with keeping the bike running afterwards, hell I even gave it a bath while it was still sprinkling out to wash all the road grime off, she started right up and ran great afterwards.

            wet

I just did the "gap" mod so hopefully no water affecting the cpu. I'll do the trick you recommended seca. It was too weird though, come to a stop light and then shut down. Too weird.
