I need a new set of shoes for my TL-RW.

    I... dis-like Dunlop.

Could someone wiser than I, whom actualy weighs 200+ lbs, and rides a TLR help me.

What seems to work best for 60% upright / 40% curve riding?

Anyone put a 200 on the rear yet?

208 gp's are freakin awesome!!! expensive though. My next set of tires will be M1's. A buddy of mine railed on his 600lb beemer with m1's. oh, and I weigh 240 just so you don't think i'm a skinny little man like most of the people who ride.
Why yes I am a jackass, thank you.

i dont ride a tlr and i dont weigh 200 lbs, but i cant see the reasoning behind a 200 on the rear except for factor. it would only further slow the turn in.

2000 tillis plus stuff with some polished stuff and some carbon fiber stuff and a little bit of tlr stuff and some gsxr stuff

            M1's. Forget about the 200, go with a 180.

I ride a TLR and weigh more than 200.

I've got diablo's... they're awesome. Turn is great, stability is great, warm up factor also great, and best of all i'm told to expect up to 15,000 KM

I'd think about Diablo Corsa (*stickiest non trackday road tyre you can get*), M1's or Pilot Sports.
Don't cha know the Yellow one's are fastest!

                    Pilot Sport sux.

Pirelli SuperCorsa is WAY better, or the Metzler Rennsport (Same tire, different name).

                    I hated the Pilot Sport.

Almost cost me the TLR a few times.
                    It´s litke this:
Got super grip, Got super grip, Got super grip, got no gripp att all!!!
Almost crashed beacuse they were so unpredictable.

SuperCorsa let you know before the loose all grip. Much better.
                    TL1000R -99. Yellow/Black.
M4 Full system(Alu), K&N Filter, TRE mod, removed Pair valve. Yoshimura clutch cover, removed Scissor gears, Carbon fibre hugger, carbon fibre rearhugger, HammerIt TLR/R fairings, Gilles Toolings rearset. Pazzo racing levers, shorties, Öhlins rear, Brembo front brakes, ET79 undertail, blah blah blah...

I like the M1's so far. Forget the 200. I just put a 200 M1 on my R1 and it now handles like a TLR. It does however feel very stable. But due to the profile it may have less of a contact patch at lean and I consider that bad.

Pilot's are the best tires I've run yet, had dunslip 207's street and gp's in a 180 and didn't like em, had pilot race with a 180 and loved that tire now got the pilot sports in a 190 and am a happy camper.
Just turned about 2500 miles with em and they are wearing all right, no more michelin men or arrows though.
