AFM races have them, go to any race day and they'll have em for sale. I picked up two 208gp rears for 55 bucks at Sears Point.
Why yes I am a jackass, thank you.

The guy I bought my TLR from is a mechanic for a couple AMA racers and is probably going to hook me up with about ten, YES TEN sets of the Perrelli Super Corsa's with only 4 laps on them. We'll see if he will fallow through with that, but I don't doubt it!! I'll put them up in the for sale section when or if I get them!

My tires are bald now and I want to go to the track with a few friends. Should I just go there and try to get a pair there or would that be a gamble?
If I do find them there are they usually reasonably priced?

Pretty much reasonable. They just wanna get some money back in their pockets and buy new tires to race on

You can find a ton of take off's on ebay also. Try looking at the WSMC web site and see if there's any info there also.

What's your budget? Bald is bad and you should swap'em.. Meybe you chould check maxxis or some other cheaper tire.

Yeah, wouldn't it suck to get al the way to the track and no one has any? Seems like a gamble to me. You ought to call the track and find out if a vender will be there for the track day. But those would be new tires more than likely.

Ok here is the rule with track take-offs....dont just buy any take off from anyone. If you are going to just use the to commute or do tricks your fine. But I wouldnt want to go out on the track with a tire that has been through alot of heat cycles and the rubber is real hard.

Thanks for the site. Found and bought front and rear 208 GP's for $100 on that site. The guy said they were used for 10 laps on a practice run and only had one heat cycle on them. Man did I score or what? Well, we'll see for sure when I get them.

when you get them mounted start looking for another set...cause if you have to ride any straights that rear will only get you about 1000-1500 miles max (dem is uber soft)

I have the theory that if they're not good enough for them any more then they're not good enough for me.

(Rupes blew a whole in that theory though, Brand new M1's arent good enough for them either. )
