  • Finally Made it to Florida!!

    Hello all,

Well, here I am....Finally made it to Florida (Jacksonville that is). What a trip....lots of driving and even more unpacking to do. The trip across the states was long and it rained a bit. New place is nice, but I miss my California weather and riding. Too muggy here and all the roads are straight!!!!

I've got a great picture of the moving truck and you can play "find the bike" once I get them developed. I need a digital camera...but still have to work on the wife for that one!!!!

Anyways, I'm back with ya and was jonesin' for some typing.

      You are in Jax? Cool!
I used to live down there. (Navy).
      Great town!

Uh...shameless plug, we are giving one away (digital cam)

Take a ride over the Buckman bridge and hit University Blvd. Nice ride. City yes...just wondering if it has changed much. I believe that area is called Riverside...hmm..or Mandarin.
20 years since I have been there.

Yes....Navy. Been all around town so far. It's Mandrin and it looks probably like it did 20 years ago. This place is pretty sleepy everywhere, but the people for the most part are nice.

I've only unpacked what we need for 9 months and the rest is sitting in the garage waiting for yet another move to the north west. Thanks for the welcome back carter greetings!

              You want a few twisties...?
Head down A1-A, there is a small turnoff (east) that leads into Ponte Verde, (20 years, I have no clue of the road name), take the first left over the bridge....nice road, dumps ya back on US1.
              UH...I MAY have US1 and A1-A reversed..LOL
              Been a LONG time...
