  • Newbie!!! Well kind of.

Hi all I just wanted to intoduce myself to the forum as a new member. I just purchased my first TLR about 3 weeks ago and absolutley love the damn thing. I got a 2001 yellow one used with only 2600 miles on it and the only thing done to it was a set of yoshi slip ons. This bike is a pretty good step up for me since i have had all 600's. I started riding when i was about 18 and rode for about 4 years and didn't ride again until now at age 28 so i have been away for a damn long time. So it is kind of like starting over but it's not if you know what i mean?
Well I hope to see some of you around!!!!!

Yeah he wasn't much of a rider but also his fiance' didn't like him riding on it so we all know what that means. (crack that whip)
Yeah it has already grown on me a lot. I just put on new gel grips and i already got my undertail from extreme graphics the other day and my buddy is going to help me put it on sunday. I also got the flush mounts for the front. I don't care too much for the stock lights and I really wanna see that big ol' 190 more than i can now. I haven't even looked at HP mods yet as the bike is already a beast as we all know. I have also never been on a bike where you don't have to pop the clutch to get the front up and that is taking some getting used to. I don't like to ride wheelies a lot but once in awhile they are fun to do but i am far from doing them comfortably. Ok well it is absolutely beautiful here so i am gonna go ride my baby for a few hours and try out those new grips. Later all........

            and welcome to the planet
If trees could scream, would we be so cavalier about cutting them down? We might, if they screamed all the time, for no good reason.
