  • What IS a TL1000?

Was pondering this question on a ride over the weekend, and wanted to open it up to all the forum members: What actually is a TL1000? If you had to identify a single component what would it be that characterised this iconic machine?

Chassis? Suspension? Engine? Handling? Sound? Registration document?

With all the modifications that we do to our bikes, after what point do they stop being a TL1000?

It never ceases to amaze why people ask for advice then when I give it they either ignore it or argue against it.
But then I don't know all that much about TL's

"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."
