I have the exact vortex sprocket on my bike right now. It's aluminum and shows no sign of significant wear after 2,000 miles. Great build quality on it.2001 Suzuki TL1000R:

i forget the brand but you want to get a steel tooth sprocket w/ an aluminum carrier. a little bit lighter and just as strong as stock.AFM #715
