  • Stator cover

Hey guys i just got a new motor off a salvaged tl 1000s. Unfortunately the guy i got it off of didnt tell me the stator cover was damaged. Luckily i have a good condition one from my previous motor. Does anyone know if gears fall out or if everything stays inplace when you remove the stator cover?

    things CAN fall out.

just be careful and put them back if they do

It never ceases to amaze why people ask for advice then when I give it they either ignore it or argue against it.
But then I don't know all that much about TL's

    wwjd.......what would jimmy do.

Put it on the side stand, so parts try to roll out, not into the engine.
