  • C24 code

Hey guys i finally got my tl to throw a code at me and its c24 with the fi light flashing on the dash and the red fi light constantly on. I replaced the front and rear coils and am having the same issue still. I have also tried my spare ecm and this did not correct the issue. Im really stumped at this point. When i crack the throttle it feels like im adding more air than fuel. Any suggestions would be greately appreciated.

crank trigger is most likely faulty.

only was to test it successfully is to substitute another one

It never ceases to amaze why people ask for advice then when I give it they either ignore it or argue against it.
But then I don't know all that much about TL's

    wwjd.......what would jimmy do.

Here is a possible cause for the error if your bike has the "+ Mod" installed.

      https://www.tlplanet.com/forum/main-...or-code-solved

Even if the mod is not installed, you still need to verify that ALL of the wires and connections are good - from the battery, to the coils, to the ECM.

No brittle wires allowed, and the connections should be clean and tight.

Now you know where to look for the cause of the C24 code.

Make sure everything is snug and functioning properly.

There is a wiring problem somewhere in that circuit. The ECM doesn't randomly generate codes. There is a cause and effect...... The challenge is to find the cause.

I think its going to be my best bet to just swap in my spare wiring harness. Alrhough do you guys know where the crank possition sensor is located?
