  • What temps on your TLRs

I'm just now getting my Tiller going and found that it is running 185ish when cruising but when I get in traffic or idle for a few minutes it gets up to 220 which seems too hot to me . Just curious if this is the norm or is something wrong with mine.

thats pretty much the same as mine thats how they all are... Going to switch over to engine ice this week see how much that changes it.

182, most of the time, and 200 or a little above in traffic. Though I have seen 220 at times.

they get real hot real quick in the summer. some of the fan switches don't seem to kick in when they are sopposed to as well. i've seen mine hit well over 130 without fans firing
. many hook up manual fan switches to help...

Does any one know where you can a diffferent fan switch (the one in the radiator). Because the fans on my TLR do not come on until 226. I would like them to come on soon WITHOUT installing
          a manual fan switch.

Alright that makes me feel a little better. I have thought of hosing another small radiator on the bike somewhere but that will be a winter project maybe (backwards).
TL1000RSquid keep us updated on the Engine Ice, some see major improvement in cooling some see none.

I put a couple hundred miles on this weekend and at a constant pace, no hard riding, I was right around 183.

I'm not a fan of the manual switch either. I can hardly remember to push the fast idle lever off . I would burn out my fan motors in a week.
