  • True Forks

Is it possible to tell if forks are true by simply looking at them or do I have to send them to someone to test? The fork seal is leaking from the crash but the forks look OK.

easy way to check is take the fork apart and roll the slider tube on a sheet of glass if the tubes bent you will see it.

Even better is a set of V-blocks and dial indicator.

also, before taking the front end apart, look for a small wrinkle on the backside of the fork tube, just below the lower triple clamp. this is often where they bend and if it is more than just tweaked, yo will see it here

2000 tillis plus stuff with some polished stuff and some carbon fiber stuff and a little bit of tlr stuff and some gsxr stuff
