    Did you re-map it with a Yosh, or use a PCII, or is it stock?

    Have you removed the Pair Valve crap yet?

      could also be one of the exhaust gaskets
      ive also heard a tre might eliminate that.

        I'll bet you have a leak...I did when I installed mine. Did you replace the front gasket at the cylinder head? Thats where mine leaked could not for the life of me get it to seal with the old gasket, then replaced it and sealed first try.

          If you removed the pair valve, then it's an exhaust leak. If you still have the pair installed, remove it.

                no remap yet, i've got a TFI on the way (if i haven't gotten screwed on ebay but that's a whole other thread). I was gonna do the TRE, haven't done PAIR Valve stuff yet. When I put on the system i was careful in trying not to lose the front gasket the problem is I never found a gasket. I'm not sure what it's supposed to look like so I assumed maybe it was stuck on the cylinder so i just mounted the pipe....the M4 uses the stock rear lead pipe so I didn't have to mess witha gasket there...am I just an idiot and missing a gasket or something?

                  Assumed = Idiot..

                  Sorry, you gotta check that stuff. While its running blow some smoke around the exhaust connection If you see the smoke blast away, you'll see your leak. (I hope you smoke or know someone who does )

                  Next step is the pair valve crap.. You can cap the tubes, but it's much cleaner to buy the block off plates. (buy a gearwench, you'll want one, bad....)

                  Then hopefully the TFI will help with any leftover problems.

                      i would remove the pair valve anyways. its a couple pounds off the tl either way... and on my roomies busa, after putting the blue flame boltons on, it backfired like a fiend. talk about blue flames! tried all sorts of pc3r maps, and no avail... did the pair valve mod, and whallah! no more backfirirng...
