all this talk about tires made me talk about my impulse purchase of a 190 50 contiforce. had to get back on the road asap and this was the only size in stock at any of the bike shops in san antonio so i bought it. was gonna get a bt020 but well it woulda took 2 weeks to get it (long story). i paid 150 for it, i know rip off when i coulda got a bt020 for 120 in the net but i couldnt wait. i have noticed that around stopsighn turns or 15 mph cornering it seems real unstable but at higher speeds it really seems planted. i know for a fact that ill never buy it again. i find myself scared to lean like i used to although the tire is scrubbed all the way out. my confidence w/ leans has dissipated 30 % cause im scared this tire will slip out from under me like it has a few times. i almost even dropped it going thru a banked turn goin 15 (it was a real tight turn) the real slid out i mean way out i got a bruise on my upper shin from where the foot peg bashed itand my boot got a huge gouge taken out, almost to the steel toe. well im probably the only person dumb enough to buy a continental tire on this board but it is doin its job for the most part.

Hey now you got the perfect tire to do burnouts with
Now Take yourself over to AF1 Racing in Austin and they will install a set of M1 Sportecs on your ride for $249, they have bike nights every Tuesday starting at 6pm till whenever, door prizes food raffles etc...
that's any size M1s you want for 249 installed, I don't think you will find a deal like that anywhere in Central Texas.
Let me know if this might be an option for you and I'll ride down to meet up with ya.

Never rode a continetal myself, but the shop I work sells a cubic ton of them. I don't know why, but hey, there cheap.

Definatly recomend you ditch it before it hurts anything besides your shin.
