  • Help! TLR is running on only one cylinder.

Rode to bike night last night.....bike was fine. Started it up and blipped the throttle. The bike would only run on one cylinder so I had to limp home. Sounds like the front cylinder was making a hissing sound. Did the bike foul a plug or does it sound like something else? I'm sure it's only running on one cylinder. HELP!

      No FI light or codes?

Give your headers a light touch with it running, you'll soon work out which pot is not firing, then check its plug.

Did the paperclip jumper, got no error codes. Plug most likley? I washed my bike earlier in the day, 3 hours earlier before riding?
        Water...?

            Water!

Don't try and pull a plug unless you can confirm the plug well drain holes are clear and the water has drained out.

Have you ever changed the plugs? It might be that simple. One day my bike was running fine. The all of sudden running on 1 cylinder. So I changed the plugs and no more problem. The bike ran like a champ.

Washed bike, it will be the rear plug. Tilt the tank back and your there. I carry 2 in the bike JIC of rain. The rear plug is the one that pops. Water seems to sit right where that plug is. The front has more airflow and the radiator to protect it a little more. Then it is at more of an angle too.
