  • Racetech Input Please

I have a quote from my local Racetech shop to rework my front forks. $450 parts and labor, ride it in, ride it out. This is with oil and all the goodies. I already have an Ohlins rear so that is done.

    Good deal?

Race tech gold valves are usually about $165.00 plus $100.00 for springs and $20.00 for good synthetic fork oil so you have almost $300.00 in parts without doing seals and or bushiongs so I would say a fair price. I personally do my own forks with the gold valves and really like them in any bike I have put them into.

I would not say it's a bargain, but it IS a fair price.

Yeah...What racer122 said. Take it to the shop if your not comfortable doing the work yourself, or you don't have all the necessary tools. I learned the hard way.
