Will it fit?
Just wondering if the calipers (front and rear) off of a 01 Gixxer 1K will fit on the TLR. I just want that cool gold anodized color.

rear definitely. front...not bolt on AFAIK. i think you can buy "caliper paint" from any "rice" store.AFM #715

Find a set of '03 'Busa Calipers. They're gold.
Come to think of it, I think '03 TLR calipers are gold, too.

I am already bidding on a set on ebay. the guy selling them says that it will fit busas, gixxer 1ks, TLRs, zx12s, and zx9s
Whats the deal? should I keep bidding on it?

ZX12 any year will go on the front and they are gold
1000 rear fits but fronts won't ....he's a moron and withdraw because of that reason

Sorry to bastardize the thread here, but on another tack, I understand the TLR/ZX12 front calipers will also fit on a '97 TLS? If so, do you need a different rotor combination? I'm hip to the master cylinder diametric difference though...

In response to wondertwin's question, Caster is exactly right. Want proof? Here's my 97 with TLR brakes painted gold. And to the bigger master cylinder.
