  • All bikes need aftermarket exhaust...

I just came back from HP and I finally got to meet the guy with the brand new XB9r (Buell Firebolt). I really like the way it looks, except for the head lights. But when he fired it up I allmost laughed out loud. It has the stock exhause on it and it sounds pathetic. I guess compared to other bikes with stock exhaust, it would sound mean, but I had just gotten off of my TL (with Full D&Ds)...

My buddies' wife's SV sounds like a lawn mower...I heard a SV with slip-ons the other day and it sounded great!

I think all bikes should get after market exhaust.

If trees could scream, would we be so cavalier about cutting them down? We might, if they screamed all the time, for no good reason.

Yup, everyone should unleash the best in their bikes.

Either way the firebolt will still sound like $hit! Can't stand em Never have and never will!

The rest of the industry just needs to rip off some of the innovative ideas that Buell poured into that bike and be done with it.

it those two cylindrical cans attached to your bike when it comes off the showroom floor and makes your TL sound like a rattlecan.

But I understand what your saying. Some people have never even seen/heard of this and alwasy assume that their bikes sounded good from the getgo.

I put the 2Bros C5's on my bike last week and I feel like I am riding a different bike. I do not know how I ever lived without them.

TL's without aftermarket exhausts should be illegal

gonna send this quote to my government. Maybe they can exclude the TL from the 82db limit.

and 200$ tickets are for people who have too much money.

Same prob here in Salt Lake City. Pisses me off, how do I get more horse power. Hmmmmmmm, 800.00 for pipes, 350.00 PC2, and 100.00 tickets every time I get caught. Not worth it, but I want them badly. you can fight the ticket once, but that is it. I never see a cop pulling over a Hardly that is disgustingly way too loud. Sucks, what else do you do? K&N air filter, tre and what else?
                            DAMN!!!!!!!

Never heard off anyone getting a ticket for exhaust on a bike round here
Is it illegal to have aftermarket cans where your from or is it a db thing?
