i used silkolene pro4 fully synthetic on last service...

but i have been told i should be using semi-synthetic 10w40

and it might even help to quieten the tl-tick down a bit..coz my tick is quite loud..

i was recommmended to use Castrol GPS 10w40

I just bought a gallon of that at walmart for less than $13 and I'm getting ready to dump it in. Synthetic oil is better than conventional oil and it doesnt cause clutch slippage. Personally I will use car oil over motorcycle specific oil because its almost identical and IMHO not worth paying double the money

if you use the rotella, its ok, but not generally with all auto oils. makes sure it has no energy saving stamp on her......otherwise your clutch will be toasted..
