I want to get one of those digital gear indicators but i have a TRE. Will this be a problem? I know this question has been asked before but fill me in anyways. thanks

Depends on what type you get. If it runs off the ratio between tacho and speedo you'll be OK.
If it does use the GPS you still should be able to get it working without too much mucking around, the TRE only sends the one signal to the ECU, the GPS signal is effectively just left hanging there."I spent most of my money on Scotch, women and cigarettes. The rest I just wasted" -

All I really want is a light to come up when I'm in 6. Kinda embarrassing but I very often want to change to 7th gear. Would this be easier than the gear indicator? btw I also have Ivan's TRE installed.vasComment

yeah that is a problem i am having too. i keep looking for 7th gear on the higways but i would also like to get it for just peace of mind. let me know what kind you get and how it works....The wimpy wheelie guy!!!Comment
