  • WP Shocks

I was planning on getting the Bitubo but over at Lindemann they have some WP "three ways" listed for $599. Does anyone have any experience with this brand? If so, how do you like the shock? Quality, features, etc. What is the hierarchy of WP on the shock scale? Thanks

in europe wp is quite popular and good quality stuff. If its a 3 way with high and low speed compression externally adjustable and rebound externally adjustable I would personally rank it just below the Penske 3 way and above every thing else. M2cents.

I will go Wilbers or WP myself when itīs time to upgrade the shock.

White Power is the bomb! Not the most PC name though... I've run it as OEM equipment on my Buells and the KTM Duke II I used to have and it's top-notch. Crafted in the Netherlands with love

I use to have one on my old FZR 400 race bike.
It worked pretty well. I would take an ohlins over WP though.

White Power? You must be joking.
I wonder if that's had a negative effect on sales here in the US.

They historically make VERY cool stuff.. Even made a single sided FORK once.. (SO.. trick.. )

But I don't know any TL running one.. So I would try to get some references first.

Check if LE even offers one for the TL. They probably don't.

                      SHAZBOT!!!

Yup. You are right. They don't offer a WP shock at all for the TLR. OK. Those who would know, does the Bitubo shock eliminate the rotary all together? In other words, does the Bitubo have a bracket system included with the shock?

Wrong, they do (or did) manufacture one for the TLR. I have been in contact with a company here in Sweden who will deliver WP shocks for the TLR in 6 weeks, imported from Belgium I think.

                            Heres their website. http://www.springzz.com/
I dont think the TLR shock is listed there but I have emailed them back and forth about this and they can confirm that they have it, they even sent me pics of it.

However, parts are way pricier here than in the US so even if we could get what I would think is a good price here, I doubt you US guys would consider it a good price. :dunno

I didn't say that WP didn't make one, just that LE probably doesn't offer it.
