  • iridium plugs - what do you think?

Should I get the NGK iridium plugs for my new TLR motor or what? I figure I might as well get everything done when I put the motor in to make it that much easier!

Let's here what your opinion is!

go ahead..........its just a bit more money than the standard ones. not sure if you'll feel a difference, but knowing you will be haveing a more effecient burn will add some seat of the pants HP.

Last winter I had my motor out of my TLR to port the heads, and I replaced my plugs with Iridium plugs while my motor was out. Are they better , I have had zero probs with them. For me it's more of a psychological factor that I am running iridium plugs.

i run the irridium plugs. yep, they've been great, never had a problem with them in over a year and figure they will last for quite awhile. couldnt tell if they made a performance difference because i did did some other mods at the same time, which all together of course made a huge difference.
i'd say, go for it. they don't cost all that much and the beautiful thing is, you only have to buy 2.

I would be up for anything that lasts longer. Not even worried about the power..

(I had an electrode break off in the combustion chamber of my Miata.. Took a week to machine and put the top end back together..)
I've got a huge penis, You've got a huge penis, even Tim over there, yup you guessed it, huge penis. Good, now that that's out of the way, let's go ride

They seemed to make the engine a little crisper, and you only need two so the extra $$ isnt too bad.

mine made a verifiable (dyno) gain in the top end... 2-3 hp....like the others said though... ya only need two, and they do make throttle at lower revs crisper, and they are near impossible to foul. that last feature is worth it alone...
