  • Exhaust sound clip request

As stated in another thread I'm trying to gather as many different TL exhaust sound clips as possible. If you could email them to me at [email protected] I post them up so others can hear them. I know when I was looking for my pipes I wanted to hear as many clips as possible and there have been a few guys lately wanting the same so I thought this would benefit many of us.

    Thanks guys

Also what about a std. for recording the sould clips.

Eg: measured horizontally one metre be hide the centre of the bike level with the tip of the exhausts.

As where the mic is placed will change the sound characteristics.
so if everyone does the same position you will have a greater chance at tell the differnce in loudness, throatiness, etc....

    Just my two cents.

I will do mine over...soon, so I can get the propper position of the recorder to the can.

I just want to be clear on the position of the mike.

3 feet bahind the bike. Dead center. Some level as the exhaust tips.

            Correct?

I'll need to re-do mine as well.

So I have gotten a hand full of clips sent to me and have them posted at www.jiffypark.com. i would still like to get a M4 clip though.

While there let me know if you guys can think of any other TL info that would be useful to post there.

I am looking forward to the library. Riding home last night 200 am after the rain with that melodic rumble of the 2Bros C5's. To those of you who are considering cans believe whatever the brand they sound so much better when they are on your bike.

Hey Jiffy, good stuff! If you would like, I may be able to accidentally send you the service manual and fiche files for the TLs (44mb and 6mb). Of course, in the interest of copyright it would be your resposibility to delete them immediately when you discover that I had simply misslabeled the rather complicated bran muffin recipe I was trying to send you. Hmmm, that gives me an idea, a Bran Fibre reinforced swingarm, now that would be the shit!
If it ain't broke, lighten it.
