  • I heard SO many good things about HammerIT I decided to get some

    Of their products.

I am in the process of getting a full body set of fairings from Oz & the gang as we speak.

I decided to go with the complete "Carbon Fiber Look" stuff and am looking forward to getting them. I am real excited! The only downside to all of this is the fact that doing this will exile me from the Blue and White ranks. LOL!

Anyway, I am so happy with my decision to get the HammerIT stuff I just had to tell you all about it.

              Edwin:
Are you going OEM look or the TLRR kit (Gixxer look)??

Apparently my Farings have left SA a week ago. Oh, they are getting closer to Sweden as we speak.

Call me a "purist" but I went with the OEM styled fairings, not wanting to give up the "TLR" shape. Nothing against the TLRR look, I think they are cool, but to me it's the stock shape: Ducktail, intake snorkles, round seat cowl etc. that makes a TLR a TLR. Of course, I got everything but the bellypan in Carbon Fiber look.

I will paint a simple color scheme on the bike, Black & Carbon with red & gold accents. I will be painting the tank, rims & front fender while I wait for my stuff to arrive. I also plan on sanding and re-clearing all of the HammerIT stuff once they do get in, along with all of the real carbon stuff I got for the bike to seal in the decals I plan to put on.

I never thought that I would be painting my bike so soon, but it will be a good advertisement for the paint side of the business. I just sold one of my TLS's and will be investing the money back into the "R". It's all working out good for me.

As for Oz....I dunno....Ya'll should stop talkin' chit about that man. I mean, with a name like that, he gotta be cool eh? LOL!

                Anyway...I better get to work...

just remember if you order the carbon look and have a misshap or scratch and need to have it repainted locally it will not match very well and you may not be amused with that scene. Just an FYI

                              OH YEAH!

My HammerIT stuff is on order, and I am very very happy about it. I also ordered my buddy Kelly (the GSXR pilot that crashed in front of me, that bastard!) some HammerIT fairings as well. Oh he's paying for it mind you....LOL! Well, his anyway. Next time I will bunny hop over his ass and save me some fairings.

Anyway...I just wanted to rant a little bit.
