Trader !
Ok.. i love my bike and all but i got a half day saddle time in a 2000 GSXR 750 and with in a half hour i was pulling balance wheelies all day and it was great in the twisties... got back on my bike to test out this new found courage and realized it just wasn't even close. Made that decision after all the love my bike has recieved in mods is in vain. She's going up for sale tomorrow and I'm getting a black and gray 2001 GSXR 1000. insurance is the same. I'm going to sell it whole but I'll probably get more if I sell all the mods separetaly.. i'll keep ya posted. No more back fires. no more "its too heavy" issues, no more chewing though very expensive tires at crazy rates. I'm going to be sorry to see her go.. but geezez. before you flame me... get some ride time on a new GSXR. !.. ok flame on....2000 Race only TLR - Accel. i was looking at the R1 as well but the biggest complaint the R1 forum has is that i don't have teh same power as the gixxers are making.. so that was my decision.. besides.. i don't know anyone to let me stunt on theres..which lets face it.. im total squid.

sorry to hear about your up comming loss, but if you're a stunter i can see why you would want the gixxer.........hope you find what you're looking for............and don't be a stranger around here once you sell the bike.
just my opinion.........sell the bike with the stock equipment back on it, then sell all your mods seperately.2002 TLR B/W. Yoshimura bolt on Titanium cans. Yosh box remap. Joe V airbox mod. plug in TRE. 17/41 sprockets. Zero Gravity double bubble screen.

i loved my Gsxr...and i like the new ones too....but i agree with fat cat that they have no soul....
Gsxr 1000's are like arseholes now,,,everyone got one
I very rarely see a tlr or tls on my travels....and what happens when i pull up at a bike meet or shop....its always the mean looking tiller that they wanna check out...
ususally the gixxer owners saying summat like....shit they are scary them...tank slappers,,too much power,,is it not a bit heavy,, ...
I just say dont knock it till ya tried it...i think a lot of them are quite new riders and are looking for the newest sportbike around,,,the same happened when the R1 was launched....arseholes they are now.....
i really thinking about getting rid of mine in the near future...but would probably be for an 02 or an 03....tillers rock"Sorry Officer ! I thought you wanted to race"
