  • Diablo Corsa or M-1 Sportec

I am about to hit send on the order button and I'm a bit torn between these two. I'm thinking about a 180/55 Diablo or a 190/50 M-1 (sets). What would you guys get?

Diablos are better but M-1s are great as well. I would get (i mean already have) the M-1s. More bang for the buck. I've done two track days on the same set of M-1's and loved how they performed.

The Diablo Corsa setup would only be $37.00 more. Do you think for that small difference in price the Diablos would be best?

          M-1s......

the M-1's work way better, and go for the 180 on the rear... better turn in... I found the Corsa's have to warm up way too long and lose the heat too quick to be good for street riding... IMHO...

corsas are supposedly "intermediate" tires or "aggressive street" tires. M1's are just really good street tires. so it's a step up in stickiness. should be similar profile and grip characteristics. the regular diablos would be more inline w/ the std. M1's. supposedly same grip but better mileage/wear

is it a good wet weather tire? m-1.

is it a good wet weather tire for m-1 or corsa?
cos where i resides rains quite often, and my dunlop sucks big time on wet.
heard bridgestone 010 and 012 is really good on wet, is it true?
any one have the experience in this?

handjuice. please dont get the diablos. seriously. not anywhere near as goood as the M1s . i have ridden on diablos, and they do take too long to warm up, and they spin all over the place. i think D208s are a better tire....thats how poopy they are. get the sportecs... and save your TL... and the diablos suck in the rain too, as well as the 208s. the sportecs rock, in the rain i can pull wheelies! and no spinning. my M1s have been on for 5k now, soooo, i like em..

Yep, M1's are great in the rain. But if your not racing on running a tight track stick with the 190's.

I just did a trackday at Snetterton today with Pirelli Supercorsas- FUCKIN ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!! Knee down at 115mph anyone? And completly composed too! BTW, the ambient temp was like 51 F!!! Full grip within 1.5 laps!!!!! And by the way, aren't Pirelli and Metzler under the same roof? Their tread patterns are almost identical too.
