TLSBill your on it, it fits perfect, just bought a couple of feet of 8 gauge car audio power wire and routed accordingly. then used a flat sheet of aluminum and welded it up under just like the TLR boys do, I'm at work but I could shoot some more pictures tomorrow morning if anyone would like them

Why would you want to move dead weight more up and rearward on your bike? Just curious. Looks good.

It is a neat idea.. but I use my trunk all the time.. If you're in for the look though it looks like a great mod..

Gotta post pics of your battery installation as well as the gap!

Well unlike most of you McDonalds eaters I only weigh 160lbs, so moving 8 lbs. a little more upwards and backwards isn't going to hurt me. I was thinking of making a battery box and mounting it near the TLR mounting position but I didn't want the battery hanging off the side of the bike. I like it where it is, the only thing I've ever carried in the trunk is maybe a hat and registration info but all the more reason to wear a jacket.

Thanks. My skin is thick. When someone asks a simple question, a blanket statement like that doesn't seem called for. I am sure that I may be the only person that may have said something, but hey. That's what I get.

I didn't mean anything by it, work got me all stressed out, my bad, sometimes asthetics aren't very practical, I think the Gap looks sweet and what is point of having an Ohlins out back if you cover it up with that ugly mud flap
