TLSBill your on it, it fits perfect, just bought a couple of feet of 8 gauge car audio power wire and routed accordingly. then used a flat sheet of aluminum and welded it up under just like the TLR boys do,

It is a neat idea.. but I use my trunk all the time.. If you're in for the look though it looks like a great mod..

Well unlike most of you McDonalds eaters I only weigh 160lbs, so moving 8 lbs. a little more upwards and backwards isn't going to hurt me. I was thinking of making a battery box and mounting it near the TLR mounting position but I didn't want the battery hanging off the side of the bike. I like it where it is, the only thing I've ever carried in the trunk is maybe a hat and registration info but all the more reason to wear a jacket.Originally posted by kickice24

I didn't mean anything by it, work got me all stressed out, my bad, sometimes asthetics aren't very practical, I think the Gap looks sweet and what is point of having an Ohlins out back if you cover it up with that ugly mud flap
