  • From SUZUKI: The SV's LIVE !!!!!!!

According to the SUZUKI U.S.A. rep I spoke with...
    The SV's ARE in the 2004 line-up.

The SUZUKI site will be updated A.S.A.P.(They are having issues with the server)

The SV's will be in the 2004 model line-up.

When asked about a "R" version.

Jupiter- "Is there a full faring model ?"
SUZUKI- "There are kits to convert a SV-s into a full faring cycle, but we do not have a full faring SV at this time"
J- "Are there plans to do so?"
S- "Not in the near future"
    J- "2005 maybe?"
    S- "I'm not sure"
    "Damn... my brain just stopped"

We all knew that, nobody discontinues a one year old model.
The all important question though, is the one about an SVR... and Im sorry to say it won´t happen, ever I think.

They had a test of the SV (without the "S", fairing) in a magazine here in Sweden. It got VERY good criticism!!!

It was a best buy untill they called the insurance company...

Becasue it has 120hp and "low" weight they considerit a "sportsbike", even tho it´s a naked bike!

                            Stupid as******

Well, prolly going to get one of those in a couple of yeatrs, When they are nicely seconhanded --> cheaper to insure...

Well I think it is going to be some bike like the GSVR maybe not with them letters but kinda up the same alley. I would not be surprized if they came out with a hole new bike at all or even using the GS letters in some way.
