    Seems like a good idea, but what if you're not at home I doubt that thing will fit in the trunk

        I have a dowco without the wiring and love it. Good idea. Wonder how long the battery for th alarm lasts?

          The cover itself is great but the alarm is weak. It's just a little box with a string on it that you hook some place on your bike. If someone pulls the cover off without first unhooking it from the bike it activates. However it's not that loud. A couple of time I activated it on accident while uncovering the bike.
