sick of my TLS
my 97 TLS has given me problems since i have owned it. i took the bike in a year ago to get that low rpm surging taken out. they took the pcII off and adjusted everything to factory specs and the bike ran perfect for a year. now the surging at low rpm is back and the bike will not stay started, i have to rev the engine at a light or stop sign to keep it running. i changed the plugs and she ran fine for about a week. mods i have to the bike, i have a full 2 into 1 two brothers sys., k&n filter. i took the pcII off they said that was a problem with the bike running crappy, but i still have it. why is this surging back and why is the bike not idling? what do you guys think out there? thanks for any helpTags: None

have you had the TPS set...
if not do a search on TPS...there are instructions
also maybe a faulty PCII or an inappropriate map ??
there are plenty other things also that i can think of...for example 12 months later starts doin the same stumbling...maybe filter wants cleaniong after 12 months,,
maybe you have had a bad batch of fuel,
just a few things to get you started...
i am sure the oither guys will be along soon with lots of other ideas...probably better than mine
good luck"Sorry Officer ! I thought you wanted to race"

You're in the Uk.. pickup the morgan carbtune 2.. It's the BEST.. No merury or anything else to spill..
I agree with the guys.. TPS, then set your idle. I'm starting to have the same problem, so a TPS adjustment is in my future too.I've got a huge penis, You've got a huge penis, even Tim over there, yup you guessed it, huge penis. Good, now that that's out of the way, let's go ride

i have just been watching the video a little more...do you have to do a carb sync ??..after setting tps....
mine just ticks over between 11000-12000-11000-12000...
so i figured the tpa was due for adjustment..that is why i dloaded the vid..last night..."Sorry Officer ! I thought you wanted to race"
