  • Troubles setting tps

Checked the tps and it wouldn't jump ta the upper bar till 3500r's , so I adjusted it.
It was adjusted almost all the way ta the right and I still had ta get it further ta jump at 1400r's. It was a real sob getting the tps far enough right while snugging it up. Anybody else have this problem? I did do it with thw box & sensors on, maybe that was the problem.

I do mine with everything connected and attached. Even if you have the airbox off you still should have all the sensors connected as the TPS should only be adjusted when the display reads "C00".

It can be a pain to adjust is small movement casues large jumps. But mine isn't at one extreme of its travel :dunno

I really don't get your short hand.
Go to the blue message board. Gary has a link to setting it rather easily.

and yes, adjusting the tps to get it set right was easy, you can do it just by lifting the tank and moving a small sensor aside. the only tricky part is re-tightening the screws once adjusted w/o throwing the setting off, just play around with it for awhile until you get the hang of it.
it is very worth doing, it made a huge difference in the smoothness of my bike at low to mid rpms, and it seems to make more power too, no more fumbles or snatchy throttle at 2800k anymore, smooth as butter

Did you get the memo on the TPS reports? You see we're using the new cover sheets on all the TPS reports now, so if you could just go ahead and remember that next time, that'd be great, m'k?

Was your post in response to something I said?
