Was a beautiful day here in central Tx, ride started out nice then got progressively worse, had to follow a cop through our favorite twisties then it got real bad.
I was riding sweep for a total of 10 bikes, just into a left hander the fourth bike in front of me goes down ( I had no idea-I was pretty far back ) bike behind him goes to the left to avoid ( so I'm told ) the bike in front of me locks em up and just as I'm coming around I see all the carnage and the bike in front of me which was almost at a stop cuts directly in my path. I'm slowed down to about thirty by this time , I lock up the front and rear and manage to slide into him sideways instead of just downright T-Boning the poor kid. He goes down to my right and I'm flying through the air over my windscreen. I came down pretty hard on my right shoulder and got to see the asphalt up close through my visor as I slide down the road on my face.
Luckily all the bikes were ridable and the damage appears to be mainly cosmetic, with the exception of my new suicide handshifter and upper radiator that is now ventilated.
    We got very lucky today.
Then when I get home a few minutes ago from the ER I find out that two others hit each other and one of them went down after we had started limping our bikes home.

I got a knee like a softball and my shoulder is killing me. I had all my gear on thankfully but still managed to get some rash on my knees, elbows and right wrist.

Today was a bad day but we all lived to ride another day

So I guess I'll be in the market for:
    Both fairings
    belly pan
    shifter
    upper radiator
and it's time to buy some short stalks since my front signal dissappeared.

That's all I remember, haven't been in the garage yet to really look her over.

    Ride safe guys

This I think is the one pic that hurts the most, it was taken about a half an hour before she was soo fine before.

Damn, that's a lot of bikes down. Glad you're relatively unscathed.

That bike on your bikes left, with your group? That tyre has passed its use by date.
