  • Which slider to use??

I saw the frame slider tutorial that Caster put up in the mods section, but which ones are they? Intuitive? I want to order them soon, so if someone could let me know.

    Thanks

The better ones have metal inserts where the bolt goes through.

I had a pair of the Bike Design no cut sliders and have since replaced them with Intuitive Race Products sliders for 2 reasons........

                              1) I have seen a buddies TLR bounce and then highside because of the no-cut sliders - they stick out too far and catch on the pavement and can cause the bike to flip.

                              2) my racing association has banned them because they actually stick out too far - the IRP sliders don't stick out as much so they are less prone to causing the bike to flip.

Remember : these frame sliders are not to protect the cowling cosmetically. The no-cut sliders might actually be better if the bike tips over in your parking lot but if you are buying them to protect the frame or are racing then the IRP frame sliders are the way to go.
