  • You wanted to know stock wheel weights.

    Well, here is what I came up with. I used a bathroom scale that I think may actually be quite accurate. I tested it with a 10, 15 and 20 Lb. dumbbell that I have in the garage.
    These measurements are the wheels with balance plugs and bearings only. They were not measured with rotors, cush drive or axles.
    The goods:
    Front=right on the 10 Lb mark
    Rear=closer to the 12 Lb mark but in between 12-13
    Both on scale=barely past the 22 Lb. mark

    There you have it. Hope it helps.

      Yo SD!!! How much do your new ones weigh? Belly pan looks tight by the way, I'll post some "after" pics later. It's barely been six weeks, and all my cash has been sunk into the Tiller. I feel bad, right up until I yank the DOWCO off and start her up

        I took my rear Dymag off to help with the motor swap and I'll tell ya, the tire deffinatley weighs more than the wheel with the rotor and sprocket on!!!! I'm thinking screw sellin the wheels, I'm gonna just be the only guy that 90% of riders out there know that has a full set of carbon fiber wheels

                  Yup, only the rims with bearings and balance plugs.
                  The Dunlop 207's
                  Front=9.3 Lbs
                  Rear=12.45 Lbs
                  I just shipped those so I know the weights are pretty accurate.
