Ever fitted a custom steering damper?
Anyone ever fitted a custom steering damper to their TLS. I want to get my damper out from over the steering stem (super secretproject). I've seen folks buy universal dampers (like these) and fit them to other bikes but the TLS doesn't seem to have much room behind the fairing. I'm thinking of making a mockup out of wood or something soon to see how I might be able to fit it. Just wondering if anyone has done it already. :dunno

There is a damper for the SVS that clamps to the frame & fork tube. But then SV's have conventional forks, not inverts. Not sure how similar the fairings are either. They don't rotate much but do require a long clearance area due to their stroke. I have a similar one on my GS and it looks funny how long it is.Common sense is not very common.

Good, now that that's out of the way, let's go ride
